Bart Breighner is the Founder and CEO of Artistic Impressions, Inc.
Bart started Artistic Impressions in 1985, after a career of more
than 20 years with World Book Encyclopedia. His last seven years
there he was Executive Vice President and Director of North American
Sales.
Bart was raised on a small farm in Pennsylvania, served four years in
the U.S. Air Force, graduated from the University of Maryland, and
later completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business
School.
Bart has served as Chairman of the Board of New York City's based
National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE). Breighner
has also been a member of the Board of the Direct Selling
Association. In 1994, The Direct Selling Association recognized
Artistic Impressions, Inc. for their support of NFTE with the "Vision
For Tomorrow" Award. In 1985, Bart wrote "Face To Face Selling,"
which has now sold over 65,000 copies in three printings.
Artistic Impressions has been listed twice in the last 10 years in Inc. Magazine's list of
America's 500 fastest growing private companies. Because of the
success of Artistic Impressions, Bart has been a finalist, several
times, in Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Illinois
and Indiana.
Bart is the father of four children, including twin daughters, Molly
and Lori. He and his family, live in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
